We thrust the compass needle into a and sketch an arch leaving from the point A. And so, successively, from the lower-case letters we will sketch arches leaving from the capital letters. These arches are the basic structure for the construction of the pentagon on the linear perspective system. According to my theory, our visual field is framed in this pentagon. We will always draw in the space between the pentagon base (support line) up to the horizontal line that joins the two vertices of the pentagon (distance line). See explanatory figures below: |
